APPLICATION DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 20, 2025.

All-inclusive flat fee: $1,500 (Includes shared room with Queen or Twin bed, private room for additional $200)

Fee includes accommodations, 8 meals, activities and entry to Luray caverns and Shenandoah National Park, transportation to activities.

Does not include cost of flight or car rental. We will do our best to accommodate carpooling and transport to and from Washington Dulles International Airport or Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport.

The circle you created was more than a gathering — it was a sanctuary. A space woven with love, safety, and truth. I’m still moved by how the right souls were called together, each one reflecting something my heart was ready to remember.

Through the writing, reflection, and the sacred witnessing of others, my story — It ends with me — became not only words on paper, but a ritual of release and reclamation. Yet the greatest gift was witnessing the courage of the other women. Their honesty, beauty, and strength mirrored what we all carry, and reminded me that healing is never meant to happen alone.

The Journey: Session by Session

Session 1: The Story So Far — Honoring and Witnessing

Explore where your story begins, and reflect on the full arc of your journey. Name the changes, losses, desires and resistance that shaped this chapter of your life. Write your unedited story as it happened, and begin to witness yourself with compassion.

Session 2: The Hero Emerges — Alchemizing and Rewriting

Identify the emotions, triggers and limiting narratives embedded in your story. Experience a guided somatic release through sound and meditation, and begin to reframe your story — claiming the wisdom and gifts hidden within it.

Session 3: Embodiment of Your Gifts — The Road Back Home

See yourself through a new lens of appreciation and compassion. Integrate the old chapter with love, create a symbolic representation of your gifts and rewrite your story’s title from this empowered perspective.

Session 4: Closing the Chapter — Integration and Release

Share your insights and writing experience in an intimate, supportive circle. Integrate your journey, and leave feeling lighter, wiser and ready for what’s next.

Both Mary Jo and Melanie created a very safe, supportive and nurturing container for us all, where I felt safe and held with so much warmth, to be able to allow for things to rise up, to be processed, heard and acknowledged. The meditations, sound healing, and exploration and discovery along the path of the hero's journey was beautifully transformative. I was able to see the strengths and wisdom that I had gained through these experiences and allowed myself to let go of a disempowering script that I had held on to.

In seeing the power of language, I have now chosen a new enlivening, and empowering script to take with me. I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone who is interested in looking to transform painful or difficult experiences, release stuck patterns, or negative ways that you have been seeing yourself.
