Acknowledge • Release • Transform
2-Day Art Therapy & Somatic Movement Workshop
Friday-Saturday, August 21-22, 2026, Asheville, NC
Friday @ 4-7 pm & Saturday @ 9 am-12 pm
Join transition coach Melanie Adrianna and dance instructor Rachael King for an evening and morning of release of felt stress, tension and grief. Transform old feelings into your creative expression of lightness, joy and freedom!
In this workshop, you will create at least 2 pieces of artwork that you will have the option to donate to the community silent auction fundraiser the following Sunday, August 30, 2026, to benefit Hurricane Helene recovery efforts in Black Mountain.
DAY 1
Art therapy to feel and release
A guided meditation circle to acknowledge your felt experience.
Choose a resource from the Self-Mastery Oracle Deck in a guided process to transform pain into purpose through your artwork. Experience tuning fork sound healing as you create your art in your personal transformation.
What is the Self-Mastery Oracle Deck?
This is a 42-card inner guidance system to support empaths, healers and those moving through life transitions to access clarity, intuition and self-trust.
Created through a 45-day channeled process guided by dragon consciousness and deep daily practice, each resource card is a field of frequency designed to help you reconnect with your inner compass.
DAY 2
Transform through movement & invite in the new.
Opening circle to build community support and solidarity.
Experience healing movement through a guided physical and energetic release – acknowledging the intuitive movement of each area of your body parts with a progressive and uplifting musical playlist.
Choose a new stream of energy through the Self-Mastery Oracle Deck to help you create a second piece of artwork of joy, hope and inspiration!
